The Veterans Resource Center, located in Jarvis Hall on the 2nd floor, provides the following to support student veterans in their success at TCU.
The VRC includes a small meeting room, a 3-work station study room and multi-purpose lounge space. Resources include extensive supplies to support veteran student success, from school supplies and technology, to snacks and campus marketing- all with the unique needs of our student vets as supported by data and student feedback.

Also in Jarvis: lactation room on 1st floor, Religious & Spiritual Life, Counseling and Mental Health Center (including the gaming community popular with some vets), Office for Connection Culture, and various study and lounge nooks.
Transfer Connection Space: As a veteran, you are also entitled to services and support provided to transfer students including events and the Transfer Connection Space located inside Molly Reid Hall. The TCS includes very similar amenities to the VRC and is accessed by TCU ID only. To access the space, we recommend mapping to 2855 W Bowie St, Fort Worth, TX 76109. This entrance is on the north side of the building facing the Tucker Technology Center. Enter through the main doors (seen below, 2 sets of double glass doors, you’ll tap your TCU ID to get in), once in the lobby area, turn left and proceed down the hall until almost to the end, pass the restroom on the left and tap your TCU ID to enter through the double doors with the small windows on top.
Student organizations evolve with student-interest and participation. To view the military-affiliated student organizations that are currently active and registered, log in (Single Sign-On) to TCU Engage and search by keywords: vets/veteran, military, etc. From there, you can view the content uploaded by the organizations and names and contact information for officers and faculty/staff advisors. Unofficial and/or unregistered student organizations are not included in this directory.
U.S. Department of Federal Affairs
The Department of Veterans Affairs runs programs benefiting veterans and members of their families. It offers education opportunities and rehabilitation services and provides compensation payments for disabilities or death related to military service, home loan guarantees, pensions, burials, and health care that includes the services of nursing homes, clinics, and medical centers.
Texas Veterans Commission
A resource for Texas veterans, their families, and their survivors.
TexVet
Services include confidential mental health services, individual and family needs assessments, referrals to community resources, support groups, education and advocacy.
Grace After Fire
Provides the means for women veterans to gain self-knowledge and self-renewal.

Texas Lawyers for Texas Veterans
Organizes legal clinics to coordinate with individual volunteer attorneys who provide consultation and legal counseling in family, consumer, finance, probate, estate planning, bankruptcy, landlord, tenant, criminal and other legal matters.
Texas Veterans Land Board
Administers benefits exclusively for Texas veterans.
Texas Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW)
Provides full-time support to veterans and their families.
Meals for Vets
Helps veterans battling hunger by providing daily, nutritious meals.

Tarrant County Veteran Services
An advocate agency established to assist veterans and their survivors to obtain entitled benefits from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the State of Texas. TCU Veterans Services is a part of and is funded by Tarrant County Homeless Coalition.

TCU Center for Career & Professional Development
The TCU Center for Career & Professional Development maintains veteran-specific resources and expertise as well as collaborates with each school/college within TCU to host networking and career prep events that are specific to various areas of study. Students should visit the Center for Career and Professional Development as early as possible in their time at TCU to develop a resume for use during college and continue to develop it through their time at TCU in preparation for next steps, whether that be in the workforce or graduate school.
